How to make Baked Polvilho Cookie?

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups (chá) of Sour Polvilho (300 grams)
  • 150 ml of hot water
  • 150 ml of oil
  • ½ teaspoon (chá) of salt
  • 150 ml of whole milk
  • 1 egg
  • 50 grams of Parmesan cheese

PREPARATION STEPS

  1. In a bowl, mix Sour Polvilho, hot water, oil, salt, milk, and egg until you have a smooth and elastic dough.
  2. If you wish, add finely grated Parmesan cheese to the dough. It’s not recommended to use mozzarella, instead try stronger flavored hard cheeses.
  3. Place the dough in a piping bag and cut a small hole. Be careful not to cut too big or too small, especially if you’re using Parmesan, as it can clog the hole, making it harder to shape.
  4. Shape the cookies on a baking sheet. No need to grease! Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 25 minutes or until crisp and dry! If it’s soft when you touch them, leave them in the oven until firm. Let it cool before eating and store in an airtight bag!
